Q - I receive an "Apache Tomcat" error message when I try to log on to the FIRECREST Site Portal with the login credentials I have been given. Do I need new login credentials?
A - No, you do not need new login credentials. The reason you see that error message is because you are attempting to access the portal from an expired bookmark. To resolve this problem, open up a new Internet browser window and manually type in the URL as received in the email from the FIRECREST Site Portal.
Q - I am trying to access the FIRECREST Site Portal, but I keep getting a "HTTP Status 400 - Invalid direct reference to form login page" error message. Is the FIRECREST Site Portal currently unavailable?
A - Unless we had previously announced scheduled portal downtime for maintenance, etc., the likelihood is that you have a local connectivity issue. Try to access another Web page, such as a newspaper or sports page. If you are unable to access any page, please consult with your local IT team. If you are able to access other Web pages, please ensure the following:
- You have closed all Web browsers
- You did not make any spelling mistakes or typos when typing the URL as received in the email from FIRECREST Site Portal
- Your local Firewall is not preventing the FIRECREST Site Portal page from loading
If you are still unable to access the portal after this, please contact the FIRECREST Site Portal Helpdesk, either by creating a support ticket, or by dialling the phone number relevant to your country, which you can find on the Login page.
